Any Organisation or institutions whether manufacturing or trading engaged in Export or Import of any goods or services has to obtain the EXIM code. Institutions Obtaining EXIM Code have to renew at the Begining of every Fiscal Year.

Procedure to Renew EXIM Code

Pay your Renewal fee to Rashtriya Banijjya Bank, Teku Branch on following Details

Renewal Fee:

For Fiscal Year 2077/078: NRS. 1000 ( NRS One Thousand Only)

if your EXIM code is not Renewed for Fiscal Year 2076/077, Renewal Fee for 2077/078 is NRS. 10,000 (Ten Thousand Only)

After paying your bill on Bank follow the following steps;

 1. Go to Customs Department website www.customs.gov.np

2. Click on Exim Code on the Left Pane, EXIM Code page would open

3. Click on No. 2 to renew EXIM code

4. Login to Access EXIM Portal;

• username: Type U and then enter your EXIM Code (U6066…….NP)
• password: Enter the password, you have kept or enter your EXIM code (U6066…….NP) as Password

If you are login for the first time change the IE Portal Password

5. Click on Renew Exim Code, Fill your details;

• EXIM Code on EXIM Code box
• Renewal Date is the Date which you are. going to renew the Exim code
• Type; if your Exim code is issued for the Export purpose only click on Export Only if your Exim code is issued for Import Purpose only click on Import. if your EXIM Code is issued for the Both Export and Import purpose click on Export/Import. 
• In Remarks Box: Type  "EXIM code Renewal”
• Fill Voucher details according to your Bank Payment Voucher
• Upload Documents
  • Voucher Bill and put Document Name as Voucher Bill and click add new
  • Tax Clearance and put Document Name as Tax Clearance and click add new
  • Company Certificate and put Document Name as Company Certificate and click add new

6. A submission number would be generated

7. Submit the documents for verification and renewal at Customs Department
